The tragic events of September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten. While it was a tragic time, it brought America together helping each other. We, at Eastgate Christian Academy, have chosen to use this date not only to remember those events but also to acknowledge our own student volunteers. These students step out into their communities to make a difference. Honoring them with an assembly and a commemorative plaque was just a small token of thanks for their dedication to serving others in our local hospitals, churches and other organizations. A special thank you to our fellow classmates for a job well done!!
