LEWISTON – Two courses will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church Hall this fall.
“Health and Spirituality,” a seven-week series for better health, will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 15. Individuals with physical or emotional health problems (headaches, muscle pain, digestive problems, depression, anxiety or sleeplessness) will benefit by learning and making some lifestyle changes as well as getting the support needed to make the changes permanent.
Participants will learn ways of healthier living and thinking from a Christian perspective. The cost is $65. Registration forms are available at local parish offices in Lewiston/Auburn or for more information, call Nancy Dubord at 783-9620 (Christian Living Center, extension 4).
A six-week Bible study on the book of Ephesians will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays beginning Oct. 20. Individuals will learn about the riches of their Christian inheritance as children of God as well as some basics of spiritual warfare. No registration is necessary. Free-will offerings will be taken.
Dubord has a master of theology from St. Michael’s College in Vermont and undergraduate degrees in psychology, sociology and social work. She is a registered counselor and owner of the Christian Living Center.
