BETHEL – Mark Wade converted a crossing pass from Tyler Stanfield at 27:41 of the second half to lift Monmouth to a 1-0 MVC win over Telstar in boys’ soccer Friday.

Kyle Pelletier made seven saves for the Mustangs (10-3).

Mt. Blue 2, EL 0

AUBURN – Tom Anderson booted the eventual game-winner as Mt. Blue pocketed a 2-0 KVAC win over Edward Little.

The Red Eddies (5-7) and Cougars (8-3-1) were scoreless through the first half, before Anderson took a feed from Luke Ferreira and scored.

Joe French also scored for the Cougars in the win.

Gorham 4, Poland 1

POLAND – Patrick King drove the ball into the far corner from 18 yards out to score the go-ahead goal as Gorham took a 4-1 WMC victory from Poland.

Adam Tanguay tallied a pair of goals and an assist for the Rams (6-5-1). Josh Pomerleau converted a pass from Kevin Young to even he score at 1-1 early in the first half for the Knights (4-7-1).

Max Levine was busy in goal for the Knights with 20 saves.
