LITCHFIELD – The first annual Neal family reunion, descendants of Russell R. and Berniece (Yeaton) Neal, was held at the Birches Campground on Aug. 23.

There are 32 direct descendants, 40 including spouses. Descendants of Wesley H. Yeaton were also present. Activities included boating, kayaking, swimming, an egg-catching contest and face painting. T-shirts and blue ribbons were presented to all the children. A potluck lunch and dinner was held.

The next gathering will be held in August 2004.
