LEWISTON – Two former members of the Central Maine Musicians Association finally met this summer after 25 years of correspondence.
Jerry DerBoghosian was the business agent of the Central Maine Musicians Association and Albert Ehrenfried, a native of Lewiston living in Massachusetts, paid his yearly membership dues to that association a quarter century ago.
Ehrenfried, a talented violinist and bassist, traveled all over the world playing with jazz groups. At 81 he is still playing.
This summer David Ehrenfried of Lewiston told DerBoghosian that his brother was appearing with the Blue Horizon Jazz Band at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath.
The two finally met and many musical notes were spun during the visit.
