On the 29th of August volunteering parents drove St. Peters and Sacred Heart Jr. High to the Auburn Land Lab to learn about team building skills. The Auburn Land Lab is known for its fun activities and challenging games, such as, the web, keypunch, and islands. Teamwork was an important factor in this trip. First, we had to practice trusting each other with “falling” exercises, and then it was right on to the fun. We interviewed a person to see what others thought about the trip, we asked the following questions: did you enjoy the lab experience, and if you did what did you enjoy about it? “Yes I did, I enjoyed getting closer to my class mates.” And why? “Because of all the activities we did,” said Joe Stalford.
