1948 – 2003

BIDDEFORD – M. Eleine Morin, 55, of Ivy Hill Road, Weaverville, N.C., died Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Southern Maine Medical Center, following a short illness.

Born in Chisholm, July 7, 1948, the daughter of Arthur and Bella Morin Morin, she was educated in Maine schools.

Ms. Morin worked as a registered nurse in Maine hospitals, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include two daughters, Laurie Sawyer of Pawtucket, R.I., and Carolyn Sawyer of Harrison; one son, Russell Sawyer of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Mariette Chabot of Jay; one brother, Denis Morin of Jay; her partner of 13 years, Sheryl E. Hamlin of North Carolina; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
