AUBURN – Pumpkin-carving, costume judging, ghouls and goblins will all be part of the fun at the city of Auburn’s Halloween party from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Festival Plaza on Main Street. The rain date will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the festivities, which will begin with a costume judging contest. Best costumes will be awarded in the age categories: ages 1 and 2 at 4:15; 3 to 6 at 4:30; 7 to 10 at 4:45; 11 to 16 at 5; and 17 to adult at 5:15.

Party-goers can also trick or treat their way through the Halloween games and carve pumpkins for the Jack-O-Lantern Glow.

People of all ages are encouraged to enter the pumpkin-carving contest. The contest has three age categories, including 10 and under, 11 to 16 and 17 to adult. Carved pumpkins may be brought to plaza by 6 p.m., or pumpkins will be available on site to carve from 4 to 6. The jack-o-lanterns will be lit for the official judging at 6.
