LISBON FALLS – Lisbon High School Principal Kenneth Healey invites parents of students and other interested community members to assist in a school self-study, which is being conducted by the school professional staff.

The study is a significant component in the evaluation process of the Commission on Public Secondary Schools for the re-accreditation of Lisbon High School by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Healey said all aspects of the school will be evaluated during the study. The committees that will evaluate the areas of mission and expectations for student learning, leadership and organization, school resources for learning, community resources for learning and the school and community profile are the highest priority for volunteers.

Association membership requires that a school undergo a self-study and formal evaluation at least once every 10 years.

Anyone interested in volunteering time or in learning more about the process should contact Lee Price or Vicky Gamage, co-chairs of the steering committee, which is coordinating the process. They may be reached at 353-3030 during school hours.
