1937 – 2003

LEWISTON – Francoise O. Cote, 66, of 584 Minot Ave., Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Central Maine Medical Center, with family and friends by her side.

Born in Lewiston, April 14, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Anastasie (Plante) Bougie, she was educated in Lewiston schools. On July 4, 1955 she married the love of her life, Arthur Joseph Cote.

She was a dedicated beano player, who loved being around people. She was a caring and giving person to one and all. She was the love of her family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of Auburn; two sisters and one brother, Therese Cyr of Sabattus, Jackie Gosselin of Lewiston and Raymond Bougie of Lewiston; three sons and one daughter, Paul Cote of Lewiston, John Cote of Auburn, Danny Cote of Monmouth and Joanne Michaud of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Paul, Amy, Lena, Rebecca, Marie, Tasha, Jennifer and Mathew; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one brother, Morris Bougie and one great-grandchild, Elizabeth LaPlante.
