BANGOR – Janie Rae DesRoches Johnson, 31, died Oct. 22, unexpectedly at her home in Bangor. She had lived in the Bangor area the past 10 years and was formerly of Peru.
She was born in Rumford, on May 17, 1972, the daughter of Archie and Linda (Dubois) DesRoches, and was a high school graduate having attended schools in Peru and Rumford.
She enjoyed the arts and performing. She was very outgoing with a lively spirit, a great sense of humor, and made friends easily. She will be missed.
She is survived by her father, Archie DesRoches of Peru; her three sons, Christopher, Brian, and Cody of Bangor; two sisters, Kimberly DesRoches Johnson of Rumford and Shenia DesRoches York and her husband Matthew of Bethel; a brother, Andrew DesRoches of Arundel; maternal grandmother, Mae Dubois of Rumford.
She was predeceased by her mother, Linda Dubois DesRoches; paternal grandmother, Marie DesRoches; maternal grandfather, Raymond Dubois; and a stepbrother, Rodney Kennedy.
