Widows fellowship
LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet Monday, Nov. 3, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering will begin with a social hour at 11:30 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch at noon. A musical program is planned. All interested widows in the area are invited. Crafters sought

Coats for Kids
LEWISTON – The Salvation Army will again collect coats through the WCSH 6 Coats for Kids programs beginning in November. The program seeks donated coats from the community.
They will be cleaned and distributed to kids (and adults as available) through the Christmas distribution Center located in the former New England Furniture Store, 149 Lisbon St.
The store will be manned from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday as soon as they can be collected and cleaned.

AUBURN – Auburn AC Serve, a food and volunteer program, will hold its alternate registration date from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, for the Nov. 22 Distribution Day, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, Whitney Street entrance. Bridge results
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met at the Multi-Purpose Center on Oct. 21. Flight A winners of the club appreciation game were: first, Dick Horne and Nancy Lindgren; second, David Lock and Patricia Garcia; third, Martine Begert and Rosemarie Goodwin; fourth, Doug and Betty Sise; fifth, Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau; sixth, Eleanor Abraham and Mary Leahey.
Flight B winners were: first, Doug and Betty Sise; second, Roger Briggs and Lucille Bilodeau; third, Don Johnson and Richard Balian.
Another game will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the center. A partner is guaranteed.
The club also met on Oct. 22 at Schooner Estates. North/South winners in Flight A were: first, Fred Letourneau and Sherry Hinckley; second, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Fenderson; third, Roger Briggs and Claire Lyons. Winners in Flight B were Roger Briggs and Claire Lyons.
East/West winners in Flight A were: first, Richard Horne and Nancy Lindgren; second, Bruce Murray and Lucille Theriault; third, Don Smith and Katie Love. Winners in Flight B were Jim Flanagan and Bill Adams.
