LEWISTON – Republicans are needed to help monitor polls in Lewiston next Tuesday.
City Clerk Kathy Montejo said she needs to have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans work at the city’s seven polling places on Nov. 4.
“I had four Republican workers call up and cancel today for a variety of issues,” Montejo said. “So I really need to get contact some more Republicans that would be interested in working.”
To qualify, polling place workers need to be a registered Lewiston voter and enrolled in the Republican party. Anyone interested in the job should contact Montejo at 784-2651, extension 214 or stop by Lewiston City Hall.
