FARMINGTON – A Phillips woman has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing about $9,000 from her employer over the last four months.
Lila Pelham, 38, is scheduled to appear in Farmington District Court in December, said Farmington police Detective Marc Bowering.
She was in charge of incoming payments at Haley Construction in Farmington, Bowering said, and allegedly “fudged the records.”
She allegedly stole between $8,000 and $9,000 from the company, which is on Route 4, he said.
