WILTON – The Mobile Health Unit of the Healthy Community Coalition will begin a series of flu shot clinics with a kick-off clinic from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, in the Ben Franklin Center at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Weld – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 3, at the Weld General Store

Carthage – Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 3, at the Town Office

Kingfield – 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6, at Tranten’s Store

New Vineyard – Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 6, at My Wife’s Place

Jay – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 7, at Hannafords

Livermore Falls – Noon to 2 p.m. at Spruce Mt. Health Center

Wilton – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 12, at Firehouse Video

Farmington – Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 12, at Hannaford

Stratton – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 13, at the Town Office

Rangeley – 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Rangeley IGA

Phillips – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 14, Shadagee Apts.

Strong – Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 14, Forster Building

Vienna – 9 to 11 a.m., Nov. 17, at the Post Office

New Sharon – Noon to 2 p.m., Nov. 17, at Sandy River General Store

Farmington – 9 to noon, Nov. 22, at the Mount Blue High School Craft Fair

Flu shots are recommended every year for persons age 50 and older; anyone who has heart, lung or kidney disease or who has asthma, diabetes or a weakened immune system; people who come in contact with any of the above high-risk individuals.

A $15 donation (or what you can afford) will be requested at these clinics but the shots will be given free for those who are unable to donate.

Flu shots will be provided to individuals who are 18 years or older.

Those who are under 18 may contact their primary care medical provider.
