BETHEL – Maine Handicapped Skiing is seeking winter volunteers.

People served may have traumatic brain injury stroke, spina bifida, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury. They could be blind and visually impaired, deaf and hearing impaired, and amputees.

Volunteers must be at least 18, be an intermediate skier or rider, and have their own equipment. There is a junior volunteer program for ages 16 and 17. Snowmobile drivers, photographers, office assistants and special event volunteers are also needed. For more information, people can phone 800-639-7770 or visit www.skimhs.org/volunteer.
