LEWISTON – “The Taste of Broadway Presents A White Christmas Ball” is the theme of this year’s annual culinary benefit for the March of Dimes, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Ramada Conference Center.
Proper attire for the ball is requested – business to formal. The committee been working in preparation for what is expected to be one of the community’s “top events of the year – an evening of wonderful surprises,” said committee members.
The White Christmas Ball will offer a seven-course French classical dinner during which local performers, such as Nick Knowlton, Debbie Morin, Laurie Sidelinger and Bette Sanborn, will entertain.
Karen Baldacci, will be an honorary guest at the event.
In addition, there will be a benefit raffle of items donated from local businesses.
Day’s Fine Jewelers will host a prelude to the White Christmas Ball. Guests have been asked to individually raise $1,000 for the March of Dimes.
Among the first to commit to this event are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gosselin, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Dostie, Mr. and Mrs. Dolard Gendron, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Michaud and Mr. and Mrs. John Perron.
“The evening promises to be full of memorable experiences,” said Chairwoman Suzanne Bussiere. “Our guests will have a delightful culinary experience, be entertained by the best of the best. To complete the evening, they will dance to the wonderful sounds of Jim Ciampi and the Manhattan Nine.”
