1922 – 2003

BRUNSWICK – Alice M. Stone, 81, of Farmington, died Monday, Nov. 3, at Parkview Hospital in Brunswick.

Born in Bath, March 13, 1922, the daughter of Samuel W. and Eva Bezanson Prest, she attended Bath schools.

In February of 1953, she married Edwin Stone at the Methodist Church in Farmington. He died in April of 1982.

She worked as a sorter and packer in factories around the area.

Survivors include two sisters, Florence Berry of Nashua, N.H. and Frances Johansen of West Bath; a sister-in-law, Hilda Prest of Fort Kent; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Prest and Evelyn Gallant; and brothers, Ernest and Stanley Prest.
