1917 – 2003

LEWISTON – Eugene N. Daniels, 86, of Greene died Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Montello Manor following a period of failing health.

Born in Bath on Aug. 15, 1917, he was the son of Edmund and Laura Dutil Daniels.

He enjoyed fishing, dining out at area restaurants and WWF Wrestling.

He lived in Oxford most of his life, working in local woolen mills. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the town of Norway in the public works department.

He is survived by his current wife, Florence Daniels, of Greene; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Sylvia) Kyllonen of York; two sons, Clifford of Ohio, and Michael of Otisfield; one step-daughter, Vivian E. Labbe of Greene; one stepson, Paul Bellemare of Lewiston; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

He was predeaseced by his first wife, Lillian Daniels, who died Dec. 26, 1978.
