Mr. Gary Paquette is correct in his letter (Oct.19). Marriage was designed by God to be between a male and a female. When God created a mate for Adam, he did not create Steve, he created Eve because he wanted marriage between the opposite sexes.
Christians are not condemning homosexuals for their sin. We love the person.
God says homosexuality is sin, and we are not to condone sin.
We pray for them to see the error of their ways. As an individual I am a sinner also, saved by grace. If people accepted Jesus as their personal savior and were forgiven for their sins, their lifestyles would change and there would be no arguments over this, and marriage would remain between a male and a female.
It is just as wrong for the opposite sex to live together. If you wish to condemn me, you are free to do so. I am more worried of what God thinks of me than what any human may think of me.
