OGUNQUIT – Maine’s Movable Feast, a fund-raising dinner in support of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association will travels to Arrows Restaurant on Friday, Nov. 14.
The evening will be the third of the association’s annual Movable Feasts and will feature the works of many of Maine’s tops chefs.

Open house
CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy will host an open house for prospective students and their parents on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Jeffrey C. Wright, director of admissions, and other college officers will conduct programs on academic majors, extracurricular activities and options in student lifestyles. Academy representatives will also lead tours of the campus and MMA’s modern training vessel.

Girls video
DAMARISCOTTA – Middle and high school girls and women of all ages are invited to attend the midcoast premier of “The Girls Project Video,” which will be shown at the Skidompha Library from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23.
The video, the creation of Atlanta filmmaker Linda Bair, daughter of Damariscotta residents Ann and David Swanson, uses conversation with women artists as the vehicle for discussion among a small group of middle and high school girls.
The private viewing welcomes all girls and women and is most appropriate for middle and high school girls. Girls 18 and younger are admitted free. A suggested donation for others is $10 at the door.
Workshop
WATERVILLE – A workshop, “Crisis Response, Healing and Prevention: Congregational Work,” will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. The session is for clergy, elders, deacons, trustees and members of parish councils, vestry and other church boards.
