LEWISTON – Lynne McIntosh Cyr has been named a vice president in the Information Technology Department at Banknorth Group Inc. In her role as finance and asset manager, her responsibilities will continue to include acting as liaison between IT and corporate finance, supervising the IT finance staff and performing financial analysis.

Cyr, who joined Banknorth last year, has 17 years in financial management, accounting and banking.

A resident of Falmouth, Cyr is a 1989 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and is a native of Farmingdale.

, she is a 1984 graduate of Hall-Dale High School.
