1964 – 2003
ELIOT – Joel J. Labbe, 38, a resident of 406 State Road, Eliot, died at his home Friday, Oct. 31.
He was born in Farmington, on Dec. 25, 1964, the son of Rene and Thurla LaLiberte Labbe. He attended the grammar schools of Jay and was a graduate of Jay High School, class of 1983.
He attended M.I.T. in Boston and was a graduate of Wentworth Institute in Boston where he earned a BA degree in Business Administration and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
He was employed as a sales manager at the Mammoth Fire Alarm Co. of Lowell, Mass. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a very good cook.
He is survived by his father and mother of Jay; two brothers, Wayne C. Labbe and his companion Gina Balsamo of Wilton, Geoffrey Labbe and his wife Janine of Turner; four sisters, Rosalie Labbe and her companion Dean Sidney of Livermore Falls, Diolinda McGinty and her husband Darren of Livermore Falls, Michelle Scott of Wilton and Lisa Davis and her husband James of Jay; several nieces and nephews.
