WILTON – Wiltona Women’s Club met at the home of Joyce Orff at Oct. 14. Hostesses were Joyce Orff and Phyllis Adams.
Tom Saviello, state representative for District 17, was the guest speaker.
With the various issues facing the voters in November, he described what changes and effects the outcomes will have on the state and community. Questions were raised by members as well as individual concerns. All were encouraged to cast their votes on that day.
The club was presented a certificate from the state by Saviello recognizing the club’s 75th anniversary.
The club will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Wilton Congregational Church for the annual benefit tea. Dr. Robert O’Reilly will speak on arthritis. Visitors are welcome. Proceeds from the event will be sent to the Alzheimers Association and Multiple Sclerosis.
