BRIDGTON – Bridgton Public Library announces its hours have changed to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Mother Goose will arrive at 10:30 a.m. every Friday followed by Story Time at 11. Library Connection will continue at 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Monthly meetings will include the Teen Fantasy Book Club on Tuesday evenings and the Mother-Daughter Book Club, which will restart this month; call the children’s librarian for dates and times.
The Friends of the Library will hold a holiday open house on Thursday, Dec. 11.
The library will introduce a Winter Book Discussion Series this year, beginning with classic works from five renowned Maine authors. More announcements will be made.
The library adds many new books to its collection weekly; this month’s additions – in a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction – includes mysteries, travel, medicine, biographies, language, sports and children’s materials at all age levels.
