LIVERMORE FALLS – Marge Pritsky was hostess for the Oct. 23 meeting of the East Livermore-Moose Hill Extension.

Chairman Gloria Jacques led the business meeting which included a report on the Fall Kick-off the group co-hosted in September with the Livermore Extension at the North Livermore Baptist Church.

Twin-County Chairman Frances Berry led that meeting attended by members of the host groups and others from Poland and Auburn. Reports were given by Treasurer Kathy Parke and Secretary Ruth Knight and the present officers were re-elected.

Lunch was served by the women of the church. Guests were Marion Browning, extension educator, and Terry Berry, extension aide, who was the guest speaker.

It was noted that annual dues are now $4 and that one may join extension as a member at large without having to be affiliated with a specific group.

The chairman reported on the state meeting which she attended in Machias. The spring state meeting will be in Bangor and the 2005 session will be in Waterville.

After the business, representatives from each group displayed some of the projects they had done during the previous year.

At the local meeting, the usual collections were accepted, and plans were made for the Nov. 13 Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Marlene Fortier. Each will contribute to the meal.
