LIVERMORE FALLS – Installation of officers for New Norland Grange of East Livermore was held recently in a joint event with ceremony with Turner Grange.

Heading the host Grange is Bob Jones and master at Turner is Marguerite Emerson. Patrick Brewer, state steward, was the installing master with his wife, Marilyn, as installing Ceres. Brewer is a former member of New Norland Grange.

At the Oct. 25 meeting, Lecturer Emily Pike presented a program on Maine which included the Maine Song, a quiz on the state and comments from members on what they like about Maine.

The silver collection was won by Noella Mercier and Halloween songs were sung by all.

The next meeting will be Nov. 22 for a Thanksgiving program and instructions. The Grange now meets once a month rather than twice as in the past.
