EAST WILTON – Western Maine Community Action recently honored six community partners for their accomplishments in the collaboration and integration of public service activities in Oxford County communities.
Fenwick Fowler, WMCA’s executive director, presented Community Partnership Awards during WMCA’s annual meeting recently. The awards recognized people in organizations that work together with Western Maine Community Action to make a difference in the community.
This year’s winners are: Jean Waite, director, Bethel Adult Education; Marty Elkin, owner, MotherCare of Maine; Barbara Olson, vice president, Growth Council of Oxford Hills; Larry Ketner, owner, Ketner’s Pharmacy, Norway; Rosie Bradley, member, River Valley Growth Council; Larisa Semenuk, nurse practitioner, Sacopee Valley Health Center.
