MONMOUTH – Twenty-eight artists from far and near are participating in the third annual Cumston “Hall”-iday Sale on Nov. 14, 16, 22, 23. The gift shop atmosphere will be set up in the Caucus Room of Cumston Hall and the newly-restored Reception Room of Cumston Library.
Ten artists are returning while 18 artists have never shown at the sale before. Wool, doll clothes, candles, baby quilts and clothes, jams, cross stitch, metal work, dried arrangements, handpainted bags, frames, silk scarves, pins, weaving, stained glass, baked goods, maple syrup and honey, knitted goods, scarves, stockings, pen and ink art, antiques, and collectibles, balsam pillows and door drafters, beaded jewelry and sea glass jewelry, soaps, fleece pants and just are just some of the arts and crafts shown at the sale.
Each artist is donating 10 percent of the sales to the Cumston Library Association, which raises money for library projects and to update and increase the collections.
Cumston Hall is located on Main Street, a century-old Victorian building housing an opera hall, library, archives and meeting rooms.
