SOUTH PARIS – Dana E. Jackson, 79, of Intervale Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Maine Veterans Home.

He was born in South Paris on April 25, 1924, the son of Clarence and Leora McKay Jackson and attended local schools.

He worked as a truck driver for D.A. Wilson of Bethel for 32 years.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Bethel Senior Citizens.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Olson) Jackson of Bethel; a son, Dennis of Bethel; three nephews; and three nieces.

He was predeceased by four sisters, Elva Lundberg, June Giard, Mary Wouri and Dawn Jackson.
