1947 – 2003

PORTLAND – Judith L. (Lord) Rackliff, 56, of Madison was called to heaven Nov. 7. She had been a patient at Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 2, 1947, the daughter of Lucian M. and Faye L. (Ellis) Lord, “Judy” married Alston W. Rackliff on Aug. 22, 1964. Together, they shared 39 wonderful, years of marriage.

She enjoyed special times with her family and friends. She loved to have her grandchildren visit. She could always be seen with a smile on her face when they were near.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Alston Rackliff of Madison; her children and their spouses, Alisa and Christopher Everett of Farmington, Lori and John Savage of Madison and Dean and Amanda Rackliff of Bucksport; her grandchildren, Dionell Brathwaite, Michael Robinson, Amanda Snow, Christopher B.-Everett, Alston Everett, Nathaniel Robbins, Devon Everett, Jason Savage, Sarah Savage, Dylan Rackliff and Nathaniel Wilcox; and a brother, James Lord of Farmington.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her granddaughter, Jessica Savage.
