1956 – 2003
AUBURN – Michelle Marin-Hamilton, 47, known as “Shelley” by her family and friends died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 7.
She was born March 21, 1956, at Camp Zama, Sagamihara, Japan. She was the third child born to Col. and Mrs. Albert G. Marin formerly of 29 Second Ave., Auburn. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from the Auburn Maine School of Commerce.
She leaves behind her two children, Joseph Philip Boulay of Portland and Anna Dorothy Wright and her husband Andrew of Pittsfield, Mass.; she had an adopted “Son of her heart” Ryan Sessions also of Portland; her greatest love was for her grandchildren the daughters of Anna and Andy; Whitney and Madison she will miss you both; her loss is also deeply felt by her brothers and sisters, Ann Frizzell and her husband Norman and their children, Matthew, Emily and Adam of Gorham, Philip “Buster” Marin and his wife Terri and daughters, Kelsi and Joelle of Oxford, Col. Albert “Chip” Marin III and his wife Nan-Hui and boys Peter and John of Fayetteville, Ga., and Lisa Marin-Helms and her husband Steve and their children Amber, Jacob and Alex of Auburn.
She will be missed by all who remember her as a generous, kind-hearted woman who loved to read, enjoyed her music and had her own zest for life.
