There have been many issues going on in Iraq. Many people are anti-conflict while others are all for it. Here are some Leavitt student’s opinions.
“I think it should be finished; it’s gone on for too long and there is no need to fight.”
Cynthia Bachelder
“We’ve caused them (the Iraqis) too many problems already, so we should leave and let them rebuild their own country.”

“The way President Bush went about attacking Iraq is what I disagree with. I think he led Americans to believe that Saddam was the man behind 9-11, which of course, got him (President Bush) all sorts of support. If all the facts had been laid out on the table, rather then tip-toed around, the war might seem like more of a cause than a scandal.”
Angela Goodwin
“I think it is stupid and we jumped to conclusions too fast because we have no evidence supporting the Presidents so- called facts and we took innocent lives.”
Tiffany Sinclair
“I’m sick of listening to people complain about it. Deal!
Tracy Dube
“The reasons told to the public were foggy, but you can’t just sit by and let a terrorist dictator destroy his own people.”
Claire D.
“I think we did a great job in Iraq, and I look forward to Bush winning Presidency again and taking care of Iran, North Korea, and Syria, making this world a safer place.”
Bobby Bosse
“Time will tell that this was the right thing to do for the safety of Americans and Iraqis.”
Dustin Gilbert
“I think we should keep on doing it. (It) helps me sleep at night.”
Justin Richardson
