AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union will hold its annual Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Horatio G. Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St. A hamloaf lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $6.50 a person.

Members heading the tables include Genice Bugel, jewelry table; Dorothy Bowyer and Mary Riley, candy; Phyllis Splain and Teresa St. Pierre, baked goods; Tonie Ramsey, Holiday Boutique; and Sylvia Plossay, books and berries.

The After Dark Club will host the craft table. A raffle, headed by Cathy Westleigh, will be held. The prize is a handmade quilt by member Margaret Nichols. The luncheon committee will be headed by Barbara Goff and Marilyn Wilkinson.

Holiday fair

NEW GLOUCESTER – A holiday fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the First Congregational Church of New Gloucester, 19 Gloucester Hill Road. It will feature crafts, candy, raffles, baked goods, white elephant items, gift mixes and s soup and sandwich lunch. Call 926-3260 or 926-4498 for information.

Church fair

LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Falls Methodist Church will sponsor its annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the church, 26 School St. A beef stew luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu will include stew, bread, beverage and gingerbread with whipped cream. Cost is $5 for adults, $2, children.

AUBURN – The fourth annual Edward Little High School Music Association craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the school gym. The event will include crafts, raffles and a concession stand.

Church event

AUBURN – A Christmas fair will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Sacred Heart Church hall, corner of Minot and Western avenues. Booths will include baked goods, jewelry, candy, crafts, knitting and sewing, personalized children’s books, antiques and collectibles.

Luncheon will include fish chowder, lobster rolls, baked beans and Italian sandwiches. Raffles will be for a storage shed, garden arbor, baker’s rack, bears and a nativity. Santa Claus will visit from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.

Craft show

AUGUSTA – The 11th annual Maine Made Christmas craft show will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 15 and 16, at the Augusta Armory, 195 Western Ave. Visit www.mainemadecraftshows.com.
