MEXICO – Wednesday’s selectmen’s meeting was canceled due to the illness of an administrator. Thursday’s scheduled special board meeting to discuss municipal personnel policies has also been canceled.

Board secretary Sheryl Briggs said business planned for discussion at Wednesday’s board meeting will be carried over to the Nov. 26 meeting. The personnel policies special meeting will be rescheduled later.

The planned Citizens’ Advisory Board meeting set for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, will be held. Agenda items for the Nov. 19 meeting include discussions on the planned gazebo and landscaping for the town office back parking lot, updates on the town’s redevelopment and marketing plan, on the number of businesses that have used the facade improvement program, and an election of officers.

Also planned are discussions on displaying banners and entrance signs to the town, and on location signs posted on the Maine Turnpike.
