RUMFORD – A 17-year-old Rumford boy was summoned on a charge of juvenile assault Sunday afternoon following a fight on Lochness Road.

Police investigated a 5 p.m. complaint from a 16-year-old boy, alleging that the older youth punched him in the back of the head several times. The investigation revealed that other youths in the area had videotaped the fight and, subsequently, police confiscated the tape as evidence.

The injured youth sought medical attention with a parent.

OUI arrest

RUMFORD – Shannan L. Fleury, 34, of Westport, N.Y., was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence Monday on Route 2 at Sunnyside Terrace and transported to Oxford County jail in Paris.
