PARIS – Silver Moore-Leamon will be the speaker at the 10 a.m. service of The First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., Sunday, Nov. 16. Music will be under the direction of organist Forest Perkins. Sunday School will be in session and child care is provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Society supper

WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will meet for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, followed by the meeting at 7.

Free dinner

WINDHAM – Volunteers from area churches will host a traditional Thanskgiving Day dinner for Lakes Region residents from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, at the North Windham Union Church, Route 302.

The ecumenical meal will include turkey, stuffing, brown gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, breads and dessert. Area residents are invited for the free meal.
