I’m writing this letter to thank Barry Dana, chief of the Penobscot Nation, for trying to build a casino.

It was a good deal for Maine. Because of our political leaders and their lies and manipulation, now the poorer residents can stay on welfare. Thanks to our governor and former governor, people need jobs. The rich folks don’t care about poorer people. The politicians and the rich slap the hardworking people in the face.

Hundreds of textile and manufacturing jobs are gone. We need jobs, but the Secretary of State Dan Gwadosky was thrilled that the Penobscot Nation and the people of Maine won’t have jobs.

Now, the politicians can put more money in their pockets from the state lottery and slot machines. Build the casino for “the people of Maine.”
