BUCKFIELD – The faculty at Buckfield Junior-Senior High School has turned over the parking rights of the staff parking lot to the senior class for a week, according to Principal Ralph Peterson.

Every month Buckfield honors individual students with Body, Mind and Spirit awards that recognize extracurricular, academic and school spirit achievements. One part of the award is that the winning students are given a reserved parking space in the faculty parking lot. This month the faculty decided that the effort of the senior class in organizing and conducting the Haunted Hill Hayride over Halloween weekend merited special recognition and voted the entire class the Spirit award.
