PERU – The Families in Crisis Task Force will hold a community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at the Rockemeka Grange Hall, 92 Peru Center Road. Donations will be accepted.

Champion team

RUMFORD – The Rumford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the conference room of the Municipal Building. After a short business meeting, a program will be presented by members of Stephens High School’s state championship football team in 1953. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited.

Big Bethel fair

BETHEL – Bethel’s Local Crafts & Wares fair will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at the Bethel Inn Conference Center, located off Main Street behind Northeast Bank.

Hundreds of one-of-a-kind items will be for sale. Free horse-drawn wagon rides through Bethel Village will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Interested riders should gather in front of the firehouse on the Bethel Common.
