RUMFORD – The Oxford County Democrats are sponsoring an evening of Acadian food and music at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 at the Eagles Hall in Rumford.

Featured musician is Jim Roy of Dixfield, who has been playing the fiddle since he was 7. He’ll be joined by his son, Jon.

The menu will include poutines and chiard, with hot dogs and fries also available. Tickets are $6 per person and will be sold at the door. For more information, phone Cathy Newell at 875-2116.
