LEWISTON – Sara J. Holt has been named an officer in the Release Department in Loan Operations at Banknorth Group Inc. in Lewiston.

As a loan operations supervisor, she will continue to provide leadership in development of employees, interview and select prospective employees, and perform routine and non-routine aspects of daily operations within the high-volume department.

Holt joined Banknorth in 1998. She previously served as a Release Department lead and a collateral specialist.

A Lewiston resident, Holt volunteers with the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, United Way, March of Dimes, American Heart Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Originally from Auburn, she is a 1993 graduate of Edward Little High School.
