Haven’t you heard? Our leaders say the economy is well on its way to a recovery. Things are looking so good that we decide (in Maine) we don’t need new jobs (a casino). We also decided that we need more bond issues on the books (more debt). Even better, the supporters of Question 2 used the needs of our senior citizens to pass a vote (on slot machines). Things are looking up.

Our federal leaders have decided to give aid to a country that hates us (Iraq). I believe and support our troops in this war. What bothers me is the incomplete facts that inform us.

I am a resident of this great state (Maine). I am under employed. I work part time for two companies that are based out of state, with absolutely no benefits. I have a family member (college graduate) that is seeking a good paying position, out of state. Things are really looking up.
