1919 – 2003

NORWAY – Lottie B. Cummings, 84, of South Paris, died Sunday, Nov. 16, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Born in South Paris, July 3, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Nina Sherman Hayford, she attended schools in McAdam, New Brunswick and Livermore.

She had been a homemaker and mother of six children. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Paris and she enjoyed gardening.

She married John A Cummings on Oct. 10, 1937 and he died in 1997.

Survivors include her children, Mary Clark of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donald Cummings of Norway, Rachel Fisck of Norway, Martha Dinsmore of Ellington, Conn., Ruth Wilson of Norway and Jonathan Cummings of Bridgton; a brother, Lyndon Hayford of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Punch; and a brother, John.
