BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) – A teenager was shot to death while watching television, and the gunman fled on foot, authorities said.

The 17-year-old, whose name was not released pending notification of family, died Sunday. The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

Several teens were watching television at a house Sunday night, when one of them pulled out a gun without warning and shot the 17-year-old.

The investigation is continuing.
