FARMINGTON – Three Farmington bodybuilders performed well at the North American Bodybuilding Federation National Bodybuilding Competition held recently at Somerset, Mass.
Josh Andrews, the current Mr. Maine who has been training 2 years, finished first in the Open Light Heavyweight Class.
Cheryl Davis earned her first Open National title to add to her 3 National Masters crowns.
Juli Howard, who began training 2 years ago, has placed fourth in the Open Lightweight Class. She also has competed in the Maine and Junior National shows and placed third.
Soccer clinic slated
GORHAM – The University of Southern Maine Soccer “Dribble for Fun Clinic” for boys and girls ages 6-14 is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26. Registration will be held from 8:30-9 a.m., with the clinic to run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entry fee is $30.
The clinic will be conducted by USM men’ soccer coach Eric Miller, his staff and players. Participants must bring their own lunch and soccer ball.
