LEWISTON – Cam Obie tallied 2 goals and an assist to lead the Pee Wee Pirates to a 3-2 win over Maine Coast Red. Josh Smith netted ther other goal. Patrick Collins and Nick Urquhart both had an assist. Also having a fine game were Reece Teiyara, Ryan Urquhart, Jared Bourgoin and Drew Bent.

Goaltending duties were shared by Willie Tyner and Logan VanVlack.

Auburn Youth League

AUBURN – Lee Auto Mall handed ServPro its first loss of the season in Squirts action during the weekend, 5-4.

Elijah Lemothe and Jared Pelletier each collected 2 goals and Brady Lare scored the odd one. Being credited with assists were Nicholas Labbe, Pelletier (2), Lemothe and Lauren Ratsep.

Jordan Rouillard was the winning goalie.

Scoring for ServePro were Travis Hemond, Alan Nelson (2) and Logan Pushard. Earning assists were Devin McMahan, Travis Landry and Pushard. Ian Durgin donned the pads.

Benson competing

CLINTON, N.Y. – Joshua Benson, son of Jeff and Jody Benson of Dawes Avenue, Auburn, is a member of the Hamilton College 2003-2004 ice hockey team. The sophomore is a graduate of Edward Little High School. Hamilton will begin the season Friday at home against Babson College.
