1919 – 2003

NORWAY – Lottie B. Cummings, 84, of South Paris died Sunday, Nov. 16, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in South Paris on July 3, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Nina Sherman Hayford. She attended schools in McAdam, New Brunswick and Livermore.

She had been a homemaker and mother of seven children.

She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Paris and she enjoyed gardening. She married John A Cummings on Oct. 10, 1937, he died in 1997.

She is survived by her children, Mary Clark of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donald Cummings of Norway, Rachel Fisck of Norway, Martha Dinsmore of Ellington, Conn., Ruth Wilson of Norway and Jonathan Cummings of Bridgton; a brother Lyndon Hayford of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Punch; and a son, John.
