AUBURN – The Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications from families or individuals living in Auburn who are unable to acquire a mortgage loan for a home because of low income.

Anyone willing to work with Habitat to build their own home and homes for others can register. Those interested can call 786-2598 to see if they qualify. Those who meet the basic requirements will receive an application in the mail. The applications must be returned no later than Jan. 15.

Land will be donated by the city of Auburn. Applicants must be presently living in Auburn.
