HEBRON – Megan Irving netted a hat trick Wednesday to lead Hebron to a 6-0 victory over Tilton in the season-opening contest for the girls’ ice hockey season.
Julia Nyitray added a pair of goals for Hebron, while Taylor Fey’s single tally completed the scoring. Shauna Neary turned away 12 shots in net to record the shutout.
Aimee LeClair made 13 saves in net for Tilton.

Bunker Hill 82, SMCC 66
SOUTH PORTLAND – Anthony Davis drained 27 points Wednesday night to lead Bunker Hill to a 82-66 romp over Southern Maine Community College.
Isaiah Bradshaw and Eric Downie chipped in for the Bulldogs (5-2) with 17 points each. Bunker Hill held a 37-26 lead at the half, then put the game out of reach after the break.
Chad Sturgis led Southern Maine with 17 points, while Joe Parkhurst tallied 11 and John Glidden added 10.
N.H. Tech 85, CMCC 75
NASHUA, N.H. – Takesha Kaneko poured 22 points into the net to lead New Hampshire Technical College to a 85-75 win over Central Maine Community College in men’s basketball action Wednesday.
Anthwaun Hathcock tallied 19 points for New Hampshire (6-1), while James Thorpe added 13. Jeremy Thomas led the Mustangs (7-3) with a game-high 25 points, while Josh Berard and Chris Brackett added 13 apiece. New Hampshire held a seven-point lead at the half and never looked back.
